Introduction:
The character that everyone loves to hate, for he is the best of the bad. Vicebane is the soul of a true bad guy. Powerful, arrogant, excels in chemistry of any nature but lacks in other areas of intelligence. The more debilitating to his opponent he can be, the more intelligent he tends to be.
This character is violent and very two-dimensional when it comes to needs and goals. Why he exists, in the end it's only to eat, kill and be the bane to Mewblade of all things.
Story History:
Vicebane was the second in a project called 10.a Intensity. His original name was Subject: 002 M2 100M GhDaPs before being changed to Subject: 002 M2 100M GhDaPs/alt.PoDaPs after some complications; meaning the second clone of the project, an altered Mewtwo clone with the full gender of a male and the original type disposition of Ghost, Dark and Psychic, which later became Poison followed by Dark and then Psychic. Since there were few blueprints proceeding his creation, some procedures were done from scratch. This led to a large mistake that almost killed Vicebane when his body attempted its own corrosion later on during his development cycle. This is the reason to why some of his skeletal structure is exposed and also why his eyes are dead in appearance. Before his spontaneous combustion that defines his current appearance, Vicebane was a long haired, deep blue Mewthree. While a powerful Recover would cure the massive scarring, the demon that is him works better in battle and prefers it.
In 'Her Beginning' Vicebane was vaguely mentioned, basically creating no real link between him and his older sister Mewblade at the time.
The second extension of that fan fic titled, 'Death, Decisions, and Destiny' truly introduces Vicebane, and quickly says adios to him as well. Vicebane demonstrates his true antagonism that he is made for, making for some rather interesting sibling confrontation.
The third extension of the fan fic titled 'Family Matters' formally introduces Swadeaqua, along with Harddense and Demisewan. The fan fic reflects on the value of lives and how they are lived. While Vicebane is not truly involved, his demise has some deep influences throughout the rest of the Mewthrees, particularly Mewblade who is petrified of what him and the combination of death means.
The fourth and final extension of the fan fic titled 'Where I Stand' follows Mewblade almost 10 years after her initial awakening. The world has become corrupt with humans turning on Pokemon for reasons unknown, leaving the Legendaries scrambling to restore the balance and deal with a mysterious infection. This is the final novel in the three part "Mewblade" trilogy. While all of the Mewthrees with the exception of Mewblade are deceased, their existences are reminders of the ills of the Mewthree species.
General History:
Vicebane was made in June, 2001. He was created for one purpose and one purpose only, the unfortunate soul who got stuck opposing Mewblade.

Breakdown:
Personality: Despite being a typical evil character, Vicebane does have one bit of depth... he's jealous. Vicebane's approach to his life ends up revolving around being better than the original, Mewblade, that he is the only one of the Mewthrees that died and is known to take this with him. Otherwise, Vicebane displays a devote loyalty to his creators and does not antagonize people. He keeps his fights with Pokemon in which he can flaunt his skills. When he fights he likes to display cunning and a depraved animal behavior that mostly intimidates his opposition. He uses this to mask his intellect, which is very high when in combat. At the same time, his chemical knowledge easily rivals a PHD's and despite having those traits, he is more viable as a fighting Pokemon. Part of this fact makes him more confrontational in a discussion, because he knows where his intelligence lies, and generally believes he knows best.
Lifestyle: Vicebane keeps a very simple lifestyle of eating, sleeping and fighting. Occassionally he trains and enjoys making a mockery of someone else's flaws. Because Vicebane had a short life and never left the gym and lab, he had little of a lifestyle to comment about. The one thing he developed was his bizarre craving for raw Oddish, and the ensuing amusement of their screaming and everyone else's disgust.
Relations: Vicebane is envious of Mewblade's power as much as Mewblade hates every fiber of Vicebane's being. His whole focus during life became the needs to best her at everything Mewblade was. Either that, or scaring her as it was Vicebane who woke her up early with his creepy telepathy and further tormented her while in her coma. With Swadeaqua he also had a tendency to intrude her sleeping as he was a light sleeper and the hardest to sedate during creation. Towards Demisewan and Harddense he has no relations to at all.
As a Pokemon of Team Rocket, Vicebane has a sickening appreciative and cold understanding towards the leader, Giovanni. Anything that encourages his behavior he relishes with glee. Anyone who undermines Giovanni he has no respect for but tolerates people and possibly enjoys them for their death wishes on the Pokemon they send out against him. The closest thing he has to love may be for himself, as Vicebane feels nothing for anyone and is sexless in his approach to anything; though, he does enjoy torturing others to the length that it could be considered a philia.
Powers: The range of abilities Vicebane has goes from boiling water to creating hurricanes, and in turn he has the most unrecognized powers among the characters present. Vicebane can create most chemicals of any kind, from acids, bases to flammable liquids, explosives, hormones, venoms and some minor viruses/bacteria. He's also the only character that can drink the contents of drain cleaners and highly corrosive substances and digest it into chemicals he can use himself. The lethalness that he evokes allows him to harm from any distance and control through chemicals. Standing within his presence can be fatal, and a bite from him is often used as a gimmick. If he was of a kind heart he could aid in curing disease but chooses to distribute them over curing them.
While Vicebane displays renowned abilities in chemical manipulation he couples it with his Dark type traits of stealth and Psychic traits that aim to enhance his speed and accuracy. Furthermore, with the combination of claws and teeth in general, he prefers to continue on more animal urges and shred his opponents instead of using the shear cleverness that comes on part of combining an extensive chemical base into an offense. Because he cannot see well, he can hear, smell and taste with an eerie degree of accuracy, allowing him to understand his opponents at higher level. This also makes his fighting style unique as it is removed from the dependencies of vision. Despite all of this talents, sharpening his claws and dripping poison into veins tends to be his favorite attack style.
Flaws: Vision and jealousy, along with over-confidence are the top problems that face Vicebane. On the vision side Vicebane sees everything in a blur (about 10/20 vision) and most of the colors appear desaturated and bleeding. He also has a high-sensitivity to bright lights and will see halos and glare if too much light is present. Mewblade's aura and the Legendary glint in her eyes are the only two things Vicebane can see clearly without obstruction. For jealousy, Mewblade's sheer physical and psychic prowess instills an attitude that he must be better than her. This is a dangerous mindset and will cause Vicebane to solely focus on Mewblade and ignore any goals or plans set aside for him. The battle lust to fight her because of it was a weakness that set him up for loss, especially since Mewblade was just that much better than Vicebane could be at fighting. While Vicebane is jealous, he fails to recognize that Mewblade is far more flawed and struggles at things he shouldn't consider being jealous about.
For physical flaws, Vicebane also lacks a proper sense of touch since his skin is all scar tissue. Vicebane has an aversion to salt water and things that sting his skin if he isn't protected and experiences a numb tingle if touched physically. His vulnerable skeleton and thin physique make him prone to bashing damage, particularly bouts of paralysis in which case a hit to the spine will sometimes cause him lapses. Loud noises can also cause a lapse in hearing as his ears are quite sensitive to all audio.

-Listen to this song and especially the vocals for a couple seconds, and you will know exactly why this is Vicebane's song. The lead vocalist has a voice that is so similar to what I imagined Vicebane's to be, that heck, I'd claim Vicebane was singing it. Well, also the word 'corrosive' was just an added, and may I add, cheap bonus. Not only that, the song is entirely based on pushing the limits, which Vicebane does during fighting and with his general habits. It has the rage, it has the angst, it really is a ball of chaotic, flaring energy and splaying acid.
