Introduction:
Hello, I'm Vaporeon Lugia Krabby, webmistress of "The Northern Pacific". While this website can be considered Mewblade central it really is suppose to be devoted to all the artwork and writing I do, as well as that of those who send in their work for me to display.
Vaporeon Lugia Krabby is a little crazy, probably a little split personality and tends to focus too much on one thing at any given time. Either which way, I figure it would help to give a breakdown of who I am and what it is that defines VLK.

General History:
I have been drawing since 1998 when I first started off by drawing replicas of pictures I saw from Pokemon cards. A year later I started doing the same for people, and eventually began incorperating color and backgrounds into my pieces. Eventually I started making my own characters in 2000, which was when my first character, Mewblade was made. Even before then I was usually drawing and coming up with characters, using songs as my inspiration, but I didn't consider taking it seriously until middle school.
As for my writing it was also started in 1998, with some of the fictions from then still up on this website. All of my work is written in rough format before being actually typed, and has been like that since the beginning. Eventually I will stop that since it is grotesquely time consuming. In the future I will be doing less fan work and more real novels. Currently the Mewblade work is what I deem as practice.
My aims since 2000 is to be in the video game industry, doing artwork. While I am still trying to get my foot all the way in the door I admittedly injured myself in post secondary school and have currently sidelined my plans. When I'm in the mood, and when possible I still do tons of writing and drawing, though not at the speed or frequency I am use to.
As of July 24th, 2010 I am married to my husband; who, at the time, was likely the only person in the world who owns more vicious, and simply more Mewtwos and Mewthrees than myself.
I plan to keep this website up and running for however long Homestead is still my supporting server. The actual website has been up since around 2000 as well, and still follows a regular end/start of month update schedule, whether there is any updates or not. It will remain up as long as I keep doing what it is that I do.
Story History:
Scary thing was that somewhere around 2004 I had finished a novel that focused on an old Pokemon community Vaporeon Lugia Krabby use to be part of. It centered around my home city of Vancouver and involved a conflict with Team Rocket from the Pokemon World. Horrible thing it was, it still makes me laugh several years later.
One of the fun features of "Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden: Dimension Devastation" was having a chance to represent my alias as seperate entities, so individually as Vaporeon, Lugia and Krabby rather than as a cluster. Those who know me also know that I'm moody and everything Krabby says or does is exactly me on a bad day. Outside of the story I tend to be in "Lugia mode", as my written habits actively reflect that. Generally I will not admit I have human emotions other than in the "BMG:DD" novel.
Naming History:
Part of being Vaporeon Lugia Krabby is sticking to this alias I've called myself by for years. Originally I had chosen to join the Pokemon community using a stereotypical Mewtwo name, which was of course already taken. Around the same time I was playing with the concept of matching Pokemon names to that of my real name; basically, whatever Pokemon name was the closest to mine at the time. During the release of Gold/Silver/Crystal, Vanessa and Vaporeon were the closest, same as Lugia and Krabby were to my middle name and last name (right now, Luvdisc is the closest). Although being that they hadn't released all the English names, Vaporeon249 became a temporary default until the rest were finalized. There was nothing to like about the alias originally, as I passionately disliked water Pokemon, and especially Krabbys. I did eventually learn to like my user name, and after a while fully embraced it (on part since my middle name has a literal water association). That led to the designing of actual personalities and characteristics for the individual Pokemon of my alias.
All of the designs for Vaporeon, Lugia and Krabby are slightly different than the norm, aside the fact that my capacity to actually draw Krabbys sucks. Vaporeon is a bonefied ditz to the greatest degree; loud, emotional and painfully irritating. Unlike a real Vaporeon, her eyes are green and her neck and ear fins are white. Lugia looks no different than any other Lugia, and her personality is relatively the same as most. She exudes a higher degree of reflective calm than the other two personas. Krabby is predictably mischevious, but she is also conniving, manipulative and at times exceedingly evil. The only difference between her and any other Krabby visually is that her eyes are blue. These designs were decided upon sometime around the second design of this website.
